A Mediterranean climate with
long summer ,two months of winter and short spring and autumn
.Summers of Cyprus are warm and dry and winters are rainy and mild.
There is much sunshine
throughout the year ,less of variations in climatic conditions. The
Summers are from May to October and the temperatures are high
but the mountain areas are cool even in summers .
Planning to travel in hot summer
mid day are very hot ,you can involve in water sports and have an AC
car while traveling across the country.
Autumn are from last week of
October to November .November are not very cold but December and
January are the winter months with average of 5-6 hrs of sunshine in
winters and Spring comes around February last and orchid
festivals celebrated in this part of year. This is the best season
to tour Cyprus.
Summers you need very light
clothing's ,around autumn you need a medium apparel and April may
you need light woolen clothes. Winter not much heavy coats but good
winter clothing are needed. |
