There are not many types of transportation facilities in Cyprus ,so you will need to hire taxi for transportation across the tour places in the country.

You need to bargain with the taxi driver for the cost and is advisable to agree for the fare before getting into the taxi and there are also meter taxis. Rural taxis are found at the taxi stands, bus stands ,in front of big hotels ,airport or other locations accessible locations. The charges are more after 8 pm .
Taxis can be booked by phone also or hired from their locations .Sharing the taxi with a co passenger are also prevalent in Cyprus. Cypriots drive on the left side of the road, in keeping with British and British Commonwealth practice. |
